Weeknote 3 - 2026-07-17
I had my air con recharged at the weekend. It’s been great for the weather.
I then had AutoGlass come out to look at a small scuff on my windscreen. They said it was too small to need any repairing and that I would be refunded what I’d paid, so that was good.
I had to have a somewhat difficult conversation at work. Fortunately, in this case, I wasn’t reprimanding anyone, but I was talking to someone’s line manager about them.
I’d spent a day or so trying to sort out what I wanted to say and collecting evidence, but I ended up telling myself to just “eat the frog” and book the meeting. It was productive.
Eloise and I watched ‘The Fall Guy’ last night. It really did feel like a love letter to stunt performers. Lots of action and good humor. A fun watch if you want something unserious and entertaining.
I had a half day today. I am currently writing this in a hotel room in Pembrokeshire. Tomorrow, Eloise and I are going to Skomer to see Puffins!
We also booked and planned some activities for our upcoming holiday to Slovenia.
I haven’t posted anything to the blog this week, but I have been drafting!
